    ‘Life is too short not to drink your good wine’ How long does one wait? We decided not to wait for a special occasion to enjoy our 2008 Rockford Wines Basket Press Shiraz - a bottle that accompanied us from the rack of Ristorante Vino when we sold in 2017. Time to drink it and savour not only the wine but some fabulous memories ❤️#drinkyourgoodbottles
    A treasured recipe from my Auntie Joan in Germany, A treasured recipe from my Auntie Joan in Germany, this baked cheesecake is made with quark. It’s delicate, moist and a real favourite in our family 💗 Delicious served on its own for afternoon tea or with seasonal berries for a complete dessert. Quark is well-known for its health properties and is traditionally used in Germany to improve digestive health. Do you like quark? If you have a favourite recipe with quark, do please share. I always use SA’s @pariscreekfarms bio-dynamic, certified organic quark. Recipe below👇🏼 Auntie Joan’s Cheesecake (19 cm springform tin, heat oven to 160 degrees) * For a healthier version replace sugar with unrefined sweetener of your choice Base: 170 gm SR flour 85 gm butter 65 gm sugar pinch salt 1 egg Mix together to form a dough and line the bottom and sides of tin with the dough, then place in fridge while preparing filling. Filling: 750 gm quark 240 gm sugar 340 gm sour cream 3 eggs 2 dessertspoons custard powder zest of a large lemon Mix all ingredients together, then pour into tin. Bake for around one and a half hours at 160 degrees celsius. Turn off oven and cool cheesecake in oven for one hour before removing. Enjoy!

I also highly recommend their coffee, especially love they use my favourite @altdcbarista milk 👌🏼
    The unspoilt beauty of North Queensland’s Magnet The unspoilt beauty of North Queensland’s Magnetic Island ☀️ taken at Picnic Bay in June 2019. At this chilly time of year in Adelaide I definitely feel the ‘magnetic’ pull towards the warmer climate up north! #nofilter

We indulged in two divine desserts following our delicious brekky at @oceaniqueadl 🐬Chocolate Tart with coffee custard (vegan) and Organic Baked Quince in terracotta with house made quince ice cream. Both were first class quality with expressive, balanced flavours 💛🧡
